During the class of Business Applications, the learning objectives are to learn about business and how to start a business and keep running it. This is valuable to my future because I will get a better understanding on how to manage my money. The project that I am submitting as an artifact for Business Applications required us to come up with an innovation.

The assignment or project was about coming up with an innovative invention that could help issues from today. And required me to work with a partner. The Process I went through to do this project and meet the learning objectives first started with learning the challenges this year. There was a total of nine challenges; Resonance Philanthropies Youth and Well-Being Challenge, Intuit Education Sustainable Careers Challenge, Citi Foundation Gender Equality Challenge, Bank of the West Clean Energy Challenge, Mastercard financial Access Challenge, Paypal Equality for All Challenge, Assurant Stronger Communities Challenge, Moody’s Foundation Climate Change Challenge, and EY Belonging Challenge. I first started with choosing a challenge of my own and that was the Bank of the West Clean Energy Challenge. I had to brainstorm ideas and think of a creative and useful product. I finally chose my innovative product which was a 3D printed solar panel. I researched and thought about the possible outcomes that this solar panel could be useful for. My solar panels were going to power hospitals. My customers will be hospitals and their patients. I began on my writeup and explained who this product was going to be for and why I wanted to make this product, knowing hospitals don't have such great lighting and enough clean power energy to power all of their equipment. Once I finished my write up I collaborated with my partner to combine both of our writeups. Once we collaborated we decided to start our story board. My partner made the story line and I collected pictures to add to it. We added more information and made a slogan to present our ideas. Throughout this process listed above I have realized I have learned or grown in the following ways; comprehending the information given to me, examining and clarifying data, and multitasking. This tells me the following about myself and how I learn and see things differently while working on this project.

The Two School Wide Learning Outcomes I demonstrated with this Artifact are Thinking critically and creatively and Mastering skills needed in career and college. I have demonstrated Thinking critically and creatively in the artifact by demonstrating analyzing real world problems and trying to help and create something innovative and useful. This is important because I can use my understanding on what I've learned to help others in need. The Second SLO I demonstrated was Mastering skills needed in career and college by obtaining researching and analyzing skills. This is important because I can use these skills of identifying and researching information for my future goals. I could have improved the following SLO better by writing more information about WSI and more info can be written on this ROL.

Overall the most important things I have learned in this class this year was the amount of teamwork and effort you have to put in for the World Series Of Innovation. These skills I have learned in this class will help me in the future by having time management skills and having an entrepreneurial mindset.
